Just found this story through Drudge.
With 'Atlas Shrugged,' Hollywood may have its first anti-bailout movie
I'm only nine chapters into the book, and don't see how a single movie could do this book justice. It would work better as a long form mini-series, but I wonder if someone could make money doing that? With a work this popular, that affects so many lives, you just know that it's going to polarize the audience. The biggest question is, will it divide them more if it's done well, or done poorly?

This is great. I am really glad i came across your blog. I finished reading AS a few months ago and, as several others have said, it changed my life. During the reading i was engrossed at all times. I drove my wife crazy trying to explain the story to her and all the intricate plotlines and philosophy. I remember at one point saying to her "if you were to pull the thoughts out of my head they would be the exact same as what is written (although far less eloquent).
My children are only 3 and 4 now but it will be required reading for them as soon as they are able.
I look forward to reading your thoughts as you continue the book.
I'm glad you like it Midas. I had been looking for a good topic that might give me a decent series of posts and this one is now being well received.
I am finding the book to be quite fascinating and hope to pick up the pace a little soon.
